The Uruguay striker left the pitch on the stroke of half-time holding his thigh, just after opening the scoring with a penalty in the 43rd minute.
Coach Thomas Tuchel has said he is worried about the injury Edinson Cavani sustained during Paris Saint-Germain, Ligue 1 ,home game against Bordeaux on Saturday, three days before the side travel to Manchester United in the Champions League round of 16.
Speaking after the game, PSG coach Tuchel said: Not good news. Perhaps it is not the main muscle [thigh], but one nearby. In any case, we must wait. I have not seen Edi yet, nor the doctor. For Manchester United, I do not know yet, I simply do not know.
Tuchel side will also be missing Brazil striker Neymar, who has been ruled out with a foot injury.
The Italian is now expected to start on Tuesday against a resurgent United side who claimed their 10th win in 11 games under caretaker coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when they beat Fulham 3-0 on Saturday.
With some good news for PSG as midfielder Marco Verratti returned to the line-up after recovering from an ankle injury. Verratti played almost an hour before being substituted by Leandro Paredes.
