Gunmen attacked our witnesses going to Presidential Election Petition Tribunal




The Peoples Democratic Party has said that its observers in the continuous case before the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunals have been assaulted. 

Taking to its official Twitter handle @OfficialPDPNig on Friday, the principle resistance asserted that the people who have been planned to be observers for it and its presidential hopeful in the 2019 presidential electiom, Atiku Abubakar; and his running mate, Peter Obi, were assaulted by yet to be recognized people. 

The gathering said the observers were assaulted on their way to the court from their different goals. 

"Data contacting us is such that, witnesses that should affirm at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal for the PDP today were assaulted by obscure shooters 

"Dr. Livy Uzoukwu, the lead counsel for the PDP and Atiku/Obi at the Tribunal educated the court that the observers were assaulted on their way from their different goals as they were going to the court to affirm against the misrepresentation in the last February 23, 2019 races. 

In perspective on the above data, the preliminary judge, Justice Mohammed Garba, has deferred hearing on the @OfficialPDPNig 

furthermore, @atiku/@PeterObi's Petition to Monday, the fifteenth of July 2019.
